Colon Hydrotherapy : Colonics/Colon Therapy/Colonic Irrigation – the gentle infusion of micro filtered warm/cold water through a speculum at gravitational pressure into the colon via the rectum. The purpose of which is to rid the colon of impacted waste and mucous. 

Although Colonics have been in existence for probably as long as you and I can collectively imagine, they are arguably the most controversial of all the natural therapies. As with most naturopathic therapies, the allopathic community has shunned this practice as both barbaric and dangerous. This however could not be further from the truth. 

During a colonic treatment, a trained therapist uses a instrument called a speculum to feed water at gravitional pressure into the colon via the rectum. The procedure although uncomfortable is not painful in any way.

Auto-intoxication

 The colon is the source of the bodies health and vitality. Having a dirty and festering colon is like having a dirty sewer system, the immune system is forced to try and protect the body from the re-absorption of this festering waste and so is not free to perform other needed tasks. Dr Norman Walker described this process of "auto-intoxifiation" as the impetus for many health problems such as fatigue, brain fog, constipation, gas and bloating as well as skin disorders and headaches. His description of "disease beginning in the colon" is a very accurate description of what a dirty colon can do for the health of your entire body.

 Colon Hydrotherapy has too many health benefits to describe, but the most distinct are :

2. Causing the gentle expanding of and contracting of the colon and exercising it.

3. Reshaping of the now lightened colon,
